Nagtago si David sa isang kweba noong kinailangan niyang tumakas mula kay Saul. Sa lugar na iyon nailabas niya ang nararamdamang takot at doon din muling nabuhayan ang kanyang pananampalataya. Kapag nakita na natin na mas malaki ang pag-ibig ng Panginoon kaysa sa ating problema at na mas matatag ang Kanyang katapatan kaysa sa tindi ng sakit, magagawa nating dakilain ang Panginoon sa gitna ng pagsubok at sa Kanya ay “magbigay-papuri sa loob ng kweba”.
Today, we face a grave trial. This present trial not only tests us in the area of our physical health, but also our souls – our mind, our feelings, and our will. It is also a test of our spirit – our relationship with God and our faith. In peaceful times, our faith is superficial, but during times of adversity, our faith is reformed. The coronavirus is a wake-up call.
