歷史就是祂的故事 History is His Story

In the second chapter of his book, Daniel gets a glimpse of the world’s entire history—from a series of kingdoms rising and falling in the past up until the distant future where all that remains is God’s everlasting Kingdom. This week, listen to Rev. Jeremiah Cheung explain how history is God’s story from beginning to end.

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)

  • Read the passage. How did Daniel respond to the situation he was in? How did King Nebuchadnezzar experience God through the situation?
  • What did you learn about God?
  • What does this passage say about God’s kingdom?
  • What does it mean that God’s kingdom is here and not yet fully here?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)

  • As a follower of Christ, what do you find challenging in advancing God’s kingdom (sharing the Gospel)?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)

  • What small steps can you take to overcome the challenges you identified in ‘Engage the Heart’?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)

  • Praise God for His sovereignty in our circumstances and nothing is out of His hand. Thank God that we can experience His kingdom through Christ right now and we can be hopeful of His future kingdom where we can eternally be with Him.
  • Pray for courage and obedience to be God’s vessels, to be light and salt, and to share God’s kingdom, love, and hope in Jesus to others.
  • Pray for each other’s concerns.
