There are things in our lives that are not pleasing to the Lord, but He does not abandon us. Instead, He chooses us and tears us down so He can rebuild us into suitable instruments for His work. May we have the humility to welcome His purpose and live according to His will.
When the Day of Judgment comes, there is no escape. Those who are arrogant will be humbled, and those who are humble will be exalted. Let us stay watchful and alert.
The prophet Amos gives us a glimpse of the spiritual famine that will exist in the last days. May the Lord have mercy on us. And may we listen and heed God’s words before the famine comes.
The Lord’s patience has run out and He pronounces His judgment.
