讓「小孩子」到主面前 Let the “Little Children” Come to the Lord
當門徒阻止小孩子到耶穌面前時,究竟是什麼原因使耶穌如此惱怒 ?本週日,張國強牧師將探討門徒阻止小孩子的原因,並揭示天國的真理。
Why was Jesus so angered when the disciples prevented little children from coming to Him? This Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung explores the disciples’ motives for stopping the children to reveal the truth about the Kingdom of Heaven.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• As you grew older, what are some ways you’ve noticed yourself becoming “less childlike” in how you viewed and lived life, your faith, and your relationships?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. Why did the disciples think the children were not worth Jesus’ time? What does this reveal about their values?
• What does it mean to “receive the kingdom of God like a little child” (v.15)? How is this different from the world’s way of thinking about maturity or success?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• In what ways have you been like the disciples—judging others by worldly standards of importance, usefulness, or success? Where is this rooted?
• How have pride, self-reliance, or distrust made it difficult for you to have a childlike faith in God? What encourages and hinders you from having that childlike faith?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What is one step you can take this week to cultivate a more childlike humility and dependence on God?
• How can you concretely welcome and value those who are often overlooked or dismissed, just as Jesus did?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise the Heavenly Father for His heart that welcomes the weak, the small, and the humble. Thank Him for reminding you that in His Kingdom, worth is not measured by ability, power, or position but by belonging to Christ. Rejoice that through Jesus, you have been embraced, blessed, and called His child—fully accepted and loved without condition.
• Repent for the times you have valued others (or yourself) through worldly measures of success and importance. Ask forgiveness for moments when pride, self-reliance, or indifference have hindered others from coming to Jesus. Pray that the Lord would soften your heart to become humble, trusting, and dependent like a child, so that your life may reflect His welcoming love to everyone you meet.
