愛的價值 The Value of Love
使徒保羅鼓勵信徒渴望更大的屬靈恩賜,但他也提到有更高超的道路。本週,張國強牧師將把愛比喻為最非凡的屬靈恩賜,並解釋為什麼愛是更美好的方式。
The Apostle Paul encouraged believers to aspire to greater spiritual gifts, but he also says there is a better, higher way. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung compares love to the most extraordinary spiritual gift and explains why love is the better approach.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• Define love. What influenced this definition? In what aspects is it aligned and not aligned with the Bible’s definition?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. What is the main point of vv.1-3? How does it apply to the church at Corinth?
• What is the relationship between love and spiritual gifts?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• What do you prioritize when you use your spiritual gifts? Is it love? Or are you driven by a desire for recognition or self-fulfillment?
• How do you respond internally when you witness others using their spiritual gifts? Do you envy their gifts? Do you appreciate the love behind their actions?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What specific actions can you take this week to ensure that your use of spiritual gifts or acts of service are motivated by love rather than personal gain?
• What steps can you take to evaluate and realign your motives, ensuring that love is at the core of everything you do?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise God for the gift of love that surpasses all understanding. Thank Him for showing us the most excellent way through His perfect love, which gives true value to our lives and spiritual gifts. Express your gratitude for His unfailing love that never ceases to work through us, transforming our hearts and our actions for His glory.
• Acknowledge the times you have used your spiritual gifts without love, seeking recognition or validation rather than serving others with a pure heart. Ask for forgiveness for the moments when your actions were motivated by self-interest instead of His love. Ask God to help you submit and realign your heart, that all you do may be rooted in love and reflect His grace and truth.
