Don’t let the trappings and trinkets of the world fool you into an inflated sense of self. Everything we have comes from the Lord. He has the power to make the strongest small and to bring the proud down. Let us not forget that, apart from Him, we have nothing.
There are things in our lives that are not pleasing to the Lord, but He does not abandon us. Instead, He chooses us and tears us down so He can rebuild us into suitable instruments for His work. May we have the humility to welcome His purpose and live according to His will.
The covenant between God and man is embodied by the Laws, which are also a manifestation of God’s nature. This week, Rev.
