當轉眼仰望耶穌 Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
當我們把目光緊盯著這個世界，看到惡人屢屢逃過懲罰、享盡安逸時，內心難免動搖，甚至失去信心。神似乎默然不語，而堅持跟從祂彷彿變得毫無意義。本主日，張國強牧師鼓勵我們將眼目轉向耶穌，讓祂帶領我們跨越眼前的困惑，賜予我們永恆的視角。
When we fix our eyes on this world and see the wicked bask in ease and escape judgment, our faith falters. God seems absent, and following Him feels pointless. This Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung encourages us to turn our eyes to Jesus, letting Him lead us past our present confusion to an eternal, heavenly perspective.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
- What is something you’ve seen or experienced that made you think, “That’s not fair”? What made it seem unfair? What thoughts or feelings arose in your heart toward God?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
- Read the psalm. What caused Asaph to question whether following God was worth it? How do we see this today?
- What three things did Asaph begin to see differently when he turned his eyes toward God? What do these reveal about how God wants you to see your circumstances?
4. Examine the heart (15-20 mins)
- What situation in your life currently causes you to question whether following God is worth it? How has this affected your view of God?
- When you are struggling, do you tend to become more self-focused or more considerate of how your struggles may affect others? What does Asaph’s example challenge you to shift your response?
5. Empower the hands (15-20 mins)
- What is one worldly source of satisfaction you need to hold more loosely or let go of? What would it look like to intentionally find greater satisfaction in God instead?
- How can you remind yourself this week of God’s presence, guidance, and value when your circumstances make you doubt Him?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
- Praise God that even when the world feels unjust and circumstances are confusing, He remains good, faithful, present, and sovereign. Thank Him that He does not leave us to figure out life on our own, but gives us His presence, guidance, and wisdom. Thank Him that when everything else fails to satisfy, God Himself is enough, and that our relationship with Him is our greatest treasure.
- Repent for the times you have allowed envy, comparison, disappointment, or the apparent prosperity of others to make you question God’s goodness and faithfulness. Repent for seeking satisfaction in wealth, relationships, achievements, comfort, or other things instead of finding your deepest satisfaction in God. Ask God to forgive you for being self-focused in seasons of struggle and to help you turn your eyes back to Him, trust His wise arrangements, and see your circumstances through His eyes.
