Do you feel defeated by your circumstances? This week, Ptr. Genesis Tan urges us to take heart because the Lord will defeat His enemies and is sovereign over all creation.

1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)

  • What point of the Sunday message was most impactful to you?
  • ACCOUNTABILITY QUESTION: How was your Sabbath? (Opportunity for leaders to assess how members understand Sabbath and to encourage discussion about it)

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)

  • Read the passage. What was Zechariah’s vision?
  • In what way is it similar to Zechariah’s 1st vision? In what way is it different from the 1st vision?
  • What does the phrase ‘throughout the earth’ in v. 7 signify?
  • What is this passage telling us about God?
  • How can we relate this passage to God’s fulfillment of judgment through Christ?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)

  • What does God’s command for the four Spirits to go throughout the earth mean to you?
  • How can the knowledge about God’s judgment affect your life or view of eternity?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)

  • What steps can you take this week as a response to God’s judgment through Christ?

6. Engage God in prayer (20-30 mins)

  • Pray for each other’s needs and concerns. (10-15 minutes)
  • Pray for our country. (10-15 minutes)
    • Political atmosphere in the country and the upcoming 2022 Presidential elections
    • Wisdom and guidance for government leaders in acquiring and rolling out of vaccines
