A Reverse Kingdom

God’s kingdom is founded on principles that are contrary to worldly conventions. This week, Ptr. Nathan Tee shows us that God reigns over a Reverse Kingdom where today’s evil will eventually be brought to justice, while the lowly and ignored who remain righteous will be rewarded by the King tomorrow.

1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– What is your understanding of God’s justice?
– How have you experienced God’s justice?

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. What happened to Haman? What does this reveal about God’s justice?
– What can we learn from Esther? What does this reveal about hoping in God?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– Recall a time when you experienced being unheard/invisible. What was that time like for you?
– How can God’s Truth (hope and justice in Him) help us in times when we feel unheard/invisible?
– Are there times when you become like Haman (prideful)? How does this passage speak to you as a reminder and warning?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– Knowing God’s truth, how should this impact your life decisions and the state of your heart? What should your life look like as you hope in the Lord and trust in His justice?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Thank God that His justice will prevail and for the sure hope we have in Him through Jesus.
– Ask for God’s forgiveness for times when we become prideful and do not depend on His power, and for times when we forget that He is our hope.
– Pray for a heart that seeks security in God even in the midst of injustice, to patiently wait for God’s timing to act, and to trust that God is able to fight for us.
