智慧人生的觀察 – 有限 Observations for a Life of Wisdom: Limitations

人生有很多限制，人的能力，人的智慧都是有限的，我們要存一個敬畏神的心去面對我們有限的人生。

Human beings are inherently limited in our abilities and our wisdom. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung urges us to face the challenges of our limited lives by fearing God.

Life Group Discussion Guide

1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)

  • In 1 word, describe how you are feeling right now.

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)

  • Read the passage. What are the observations of Solomon in this passage?
  • What does the passage say about God? (vv.10-12)

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)

  • What hinders us from truly enjoying God’s blessings?
  • What does enjoying God’s blessings look like to you? (Note: One can only truly enjoy God’s blessings when he fears God)
  • Self-reflection: How have blessings from God become my idols?
  • Reflect on v.10. What does this verse mean for you? In what way can this bring encouragement to us?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)

  • True enjoyment and lasting satisfaction come from fearing God. What action steps can you do to pursue this?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)

  • Pray for each other’s needs and concerns. (10-15 minutes)
  • Pray for our country. (10-15 minutes)
    • Arrival of vaccines in the coming days and for LGUs to roll out systems effectively.
    • Presence of the UK, South African, and most recently the Indian variant in the Philippines.
