Our Protector in Life’s Journey | Draw Near to God

Discussion Questions

Use these questions to guide your life group discussions or personal reflections.

1. How are you doing the past week (emotionally, financially, and spiritually)?

2. How is the Lord present in your daily life?

3. Read vv.1-2. Life is like a journey. In what way is life similar to a journey to the mountains? How have you experienced such? Where is your life headed? How is it the same or different from Gen.5:22? How are you living for God at your current stage in life?

4. Read vv.3-8. The Lord is our protector on this journey. What does it mean for you that God does not slumber/sleep? How has God been protecting you? God is eternally present, do you believe this Truth? Read Rom.8:35 and 39. Reflect: what can separate me from the love of God?
