Discussion Questions

Use these questions to guide your life group discussions or personal reflections.

1. How are you doing the past week (emotionally, financially, and spiritually)?

2. Read vv. 1-2. Personal relationship. How is your relationship with the Lord? How do you relate with God (personal or through others)? Share a personal encounter with God. Reflect: Imagine yourself having a heart to heart talk with God, what does it look like?

3. Read vv.3-6. Uninterrupted relationship. What is the significance of knowing that God does not slumber nor sleep? What does this mean for you? Read 1Kings18:27, how is our God different from other gods?

4. Read vv.7-8. Saving relationship. What does it mean that ‘the Lord will keep you from all evil’? Read Ps.23:2-4, how does this passage reveal how the Lord keeps us? What can separate you from the Lord (refer to Rom.8:35-39)?

5. Are you confident that the Lord is keeping you? Why?
