救贖的彌賽亞來了 The Redemptive Messiah Has Come
Consider the contrast when Jesus’ rode into Jerusalem: here is a King making a triumphant entrance into Israel’s most important city, yet He is riding on a donkey. This Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung explores the dual identity of Jesus as reflected in His entry, revealing Him as both Messiah and King.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• When you hear the word “king,” what kind of image or expectation immediately comes to mind? How is that similar to or different from who Jesus is?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. Why is Jesus’ choice to ride a colt significant? What does this reveal about the kind of Messiah He is?
• What is the significance of Jesus going straight to the temple? How does this connect to the idea of God’s glory dwelling among His people?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• How do you personally respond to Jesus’ authority: with full surrender like the spreading of cloaks, or with selective obedience?
• If Jesus were to “enter the temple” of your life today, what areas might reveal resistance to His rule or glory? What practical changes can you make so that God’s glory is more clearly revealed through your life?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What would it look like for you to imitate Jesus’ humility and obedience in a situation where you have influence or power?
• How can you intentionally submit your plans, resources, or ambitions to Jesus as your King this week?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise Jesus as the Messiah who has come—humble, powerful, and victorious. Thank Him for being both the suffering Savior who redeems and the glorious King who reigns, and for choosing to dwell in us through His Spirit.
• Confess the ways you resist Jesus’ kingship in your life, whether by holding back areas of control, seeking salvation on your own terms, or failing to reflect His glory. Ask God for a heart that fully submits and gladly welcomes Him as King.
