Saved Again and Again and Again
At times, our faith becomes stagnant and compartmentalized, disconnected from our daily lives. This Sunday, Pastor Isaac Cheung reminds us that true faith is an ongoing, transformative way of life. Let us constantly renew our faith by embracing the Gospel again and again, lest we risk becoming a faithless generation.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– Share a time when you realized you were trying to solve a problem on your own without involving God. What did you learn from that experience?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. Why did Jesus call His generation “faithless”? What was He really pointing out about their hearts and way of life?
– Why were the disciples unable to cast out the demon? What does this show about the importance of prayer and dependence on God?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– In what ways do you see yourself living like a “secular Christian” or “functional atheist” (believing in God but living as if He’s not really involved)? What encourages and hinders you from being a Christian in your actions and lifestyle?
– How do you usually respond when you feel doubt or spiritual dryness? Do you hide it, ignore it, or bring it to Jesus? Where is this rooted?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– What would it look like for you to come before God “again and again,” confessing unbelief and choosing to trust Him daily? What’s one way you can start re-centering your life around God in your daily routine or decision-making?
– How can you encourage someone in your life who is struggling with doubt or has drifted into self-reliance?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Praise the Heavenly Father for His patience and mercy toward our unbelief. Thank Him for sending Jesus—the One who saves us not just once, but again and again, drawing us back into faith and dependence on Him. Rejoice that even when our faith is weak, Jesus remains strong and faithful. Thank God for His Spirit, who continues to remind us of His presence and power in our daily lives.
– Repent for the times you have lived as if God were not present—trusting in your own strength, wisdom, or plans. Ask forgiveness for building your life around self-reliance instead of surrender. Pray that God would soften your heart to confess your unbelief, and that He would renew your desire to live in constant prayerful dependence, trusting His goodness and will each day.
