A Vision of Glory
During the Transfiguration, the disciples saw Jesus in a new light, which transformed their worship and commitment to Him. This Sunday, Ptr. Jared Co shares how true worship deepens our understanding of God and prepares us to follow Him, even if we need to endure suffering for His sake.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– Share about a time when you experienced a mountaintop moment with God. How did this spiritual high impact your relationship with God in the long run?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. What does the presence of Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration reveal about Jesus’ role in the story of salvation?
– Why do you think Jesus allowed the disciples to see His glory only for a brief moment?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– In what ways have you been seeking mountaintop spiritual highs instead of cultivating steadfast worship during ordinary or difficult seasons?
– How do you respond when the path to following Jesus includes suffering, sacrifice, or discomfort? What encourages and hinders you from doing so?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– What is one practical way you can commit to regular, steadfast worship this week, even in busy or challenging moments?
– How can you serve someone in your family, church, or circle this week, even if it requires sacrifice or inconvenience?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Praise the Heavenly Father for revealing the glory of Christ, who is both the fulfillment of the law and the prophets and the answer to the deepest longing of the human heart. Thank Him for giving us glimpses of His glory that strengthen us for the journey of faith. Rejoice that Jesus chose to walk the path of suffering so we could share in His glory.
– Repent for the times you have sought the mountaintop experience but resisted the daily call to worship, obedience, and sacrifice. Ask for forgiveness for pursuing comfort and recognition instead of humbly serving and telling others about Christ. Pray for a heart that perseveres in worship and service even when the path to glory includes suffering.
