Was Blind But Now I See
Our hardened hearts and unrepentance often blind us to God’s truth and love. This Sunday, Ptr. Nathan Tee shows us how Jesus continues to reach out with gentle persistence, touching our lives to restore our spiritual sight and help us clearly see the Father’s perfect love for His children.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– Share a time you realized that being “too familiar” with something (or someone) caused you to overlook its true value or take it for granted. What happened after this realization?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. What are some things that can blind people spiritually, even those familiar with Jesus?
– How does this miracle demonstrate Jesus’ willingness to patiently restore sight rather than condemn blindness?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– In what ways might your own familiarity with Jesus or church life sometimes blind you from truly seeing Him?
– How have you personally experienced Jesus’ patience and willingness to reveal Himself to you?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– What is one practice you can begin (or renew) this week to help you see Jesus more clearly?
– How can you encourage someone who may feel “blind” or stuck in their faith journey to experience Jesus’ restoring touch?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Praise the Lord for His willingness to open our eyes and restore our spiritual sight. Thank Him that despite our blindness, hardness of heart, and lack of understanding, He continues to reveal Himself patiently and faithfully, showing us the fullness of His love in Christ.
– Repent for the times you have allowed familiarity, pride, or a hardened heart to blind you from truly seeing Jesus. Ask for forgiveness for neglecting His works and His love, and pray for renewed clarity to see Him as He is and to live in the light of His truth.
