從轄制到自由 From Bondage to Freedom
我們許多人經歷轄制，生命中沒有真正的自由。本週日，張祖謙牧師提醒我們，無論是什麼將我們轄制，我們在耶穌裡都有盼望，主耶穌能使我們從轄制中得到真正的自由。
Many of us are in bondage and do not live in true freedom. This Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung reminds us that no matter what holds us captive, we have hope in Jesus, for He can deliver us and set us free.

1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• Share something you used to be afraid of or controlled by. What helped you overcome it?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. Why do the demons need to ask permission from Jesus? What does this say about who holds ultimate power?
• Why did the Gerasenes react with fear instead of joy when they saw the healed man?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• Are you more like the townspeople (afraid of change) or like the healed man (grateful and obedient)? What’s holding you back from full surrender?
• When Jesus says no to your request (like the man’s request to go with Him), how do you usually respond? Do you trust His better plan than your own desires/opinions?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What areas in your life do you feel controlled—by habits, fears, or even past wounds? What is one step you can take this week to walk in the freedom Jesus offers?
• Who around you needs to hear about what the Lord has done in your life? How can you start sharing your story like the man did in Decapolis?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise the Lord Jesus for His absolute authority over every power of darkness. Thank Him that He sees us in our brokenness and chooses to make a purposeful detour to reach and rescue us. Rejoice in the freedom He offers—a freedom that restores dignity, peace, and purpose to our lives. Worship Him for being a God who values us more than anything this world holds.
• Repent for the times you have allowed sin, fear, or unhealthy desires to control you instead of submitting to Christ’s authority. Ask for forgiveness for when you have pushed Jesus away like the Gerasenes, preferring comfort over transformation. Pray that your heart would no longer resist the change Jesus brings, and instead, long to follow Him in full obedience—even when it costs you.
