Hide and Seek
The paradox of God’s Kingdom is that it is hidden and yet open to all. This week, Ptr. Jared Co teaches us how to seek the Kingdom revealed by Jesus Christ with diligence and care.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– Share a time you found something meaningful that was hidden in plain sight (whether in Scripture or life). What changed to make you realize this? What happened after?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. What does it mean that God gives “enough light to seek Him, but not more than what you need” (v.12)? How does that help us understand God’s pattern of revealing Himself?
– How do vv.24-25 challenge us in terms of how we respond to the truth we’ve already heard?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– How are you paying attention to what God is already saying in your life? Are you waiting for more clarity before you obey?
– Which voices in your life (e.g., world, flesh, enemy, authority, friends, family, community) are most likely to distract you from hearing God clearly? How do you normally respond to them?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– What is one practical step you can take this week to block out distractions and focus on hearing God’s voice?
– How can you cultivate a lifestyle of seeking God’s kingdom even when it feels hidden or slow-growing?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Praise God for being a King who does not hide Himself forever but chooses to reveal His kingdom through Jesus. Thank Him that the gospel is good news for all, not a secret for a few. Rejoice in the truth that Jesus wrapped Himself in weakness to bring the kingdom into our lives and make us part of His story.
– Repent for the times you have not paid attention to what God has already revealed, choosing instead to listen to other voices. Ask for forgiveness for neglecting His Word or treating the gospel as common. Pray for a heart that listens personally and intentionally, with a hunger to seek God’s kingdom above all else.
