生命結果的原則(一)心田的預備 The Principle of Life’s Outcome (1) Preparation of the Heart

基督徒能否結出好果子,與他們內心的態度息息相關。本週,張牧師將探討撒種的比喻,闡述四種主要的心田 以及它們所產生的不同結果。

Whether or not a Christian produces good fruit is closely related to their heart’s attitude. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung explores the Parable of the Sower, illustrating the four main types of spiritual “soil” and the differences in their yield.

1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• Share a time when you found it hard to focus or receive a message, whether in school, church, or work. What made it difficult for you?

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. What are the four kinds of hearts Jesus described in the parable of the sower? How does each type of heart respond differently to God’s word?
• What factors influence each type of soil’s (heart) reception of the seed (God’s word)?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• In what ways have you allowed worries, wealth, or desires to crowd out God’s word in your life recently?
• How willing are you to let God soften and shape your heart to make it more fruitful?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• How can you practice patience, trust, and perseverance when challenges come after you hear and receive God’s word?
• What steps can you take to remove the “thorns” that compete with your devotion to Jesus?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise the Heavenly Father for the gift of His word that brings life and transformation. Thank Him for faithfully sowing the seed of His truth into our hearts and for His patience as He nurtures our growth. Express your gratitude that despite the hardness, shallowness, or distractions that sometimes fill our hearts, He continues to work, inviting us to bear lasting fruit for His glory.
• Repent before the Lord for the times you have allowed your heart to become hard, shallow, or overcrowded with worries, riches, and selfish desires. Ask for forgiveness for not guarding your heart diligently when hearing His Word. Pray that you may humbly receive His Word with a soft, teachable, and persevering heart, bearing fruit that glorifies Him.
