1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)

  • Share a time when you chose to compromise (in the family, school/workplace, relationships, etc.). What led you to compromise?

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)

  • Read the passage. What kind of situation did Daniel’s three friends face? How did they respond to the situation?
  • How did God use the three men to make Him known to King Nebuchadnezzar and the whole empire?
  • In what ways do Christians find it hard to stay faithful to God?
  • What did you learn about God? What did you learn about yourself?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)

  • What kind of situations do you tend to compromise your faith in?
  • How can you reconcile it with the Truth learned in Daniel 3?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)

Choose 1:

  • If you are currently in a situation where you are tempted to compromise your faith, how are you going to obey God?
  • To whom can you share what you have learned from the passage? How are you going to do it?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)

  • Praise God for He is faithful, sovereign, and good.
  • Seek God’s forgiveness for times when we are tempted to compromise our faith.
  • Ask God to grant us courage and conviction to stand firm in our faith and to speak about Him even in the midst of difficult situations.
