Do we only worship and serve God because He blesses us? This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung shows us how God had full confidence in the steadfast faithfulness of His servant Job. Will we respond in the same way when our Lord in heaven allows calamities to fall upon us?

- What are your thoughts about suffering?
3. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
- Share a time when you have experienced/witnessed suffering. What was it like for you?
4. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
- Describe Job. (What happened to Job? How did he respond?)
- Describe Satan. (What accusations did Satan have?)
- Describe God. (What did God do? What have you learned about God?)
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
- With what you have learned about God and suffering, what can you improve/change in your attitude towards suffering? What steps can you take towards the change?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
- Pray for each other’s needs and concerns. (10-15 minutes)
- Pray for our country. (10-15 minutes)
- Our government’s response and handling of Delta variant cases of COVID-19 detected.
- Smooth arrival of vaccines bought by the private sector.
