- What is your takeaway from the message?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
- Read 1Kings 19:19-21. Describe the background of Elisha. How did God call Elisha? How did Elisha respond? How does his response show his heart for God?
- Read 2Kings 3:11. What kind of work did Elisha do when he was with Elijah? What did Elisha learn from Elijah? What is life on life discipleship?
- In 2Kings 2, Elijah and Elisha went to 4 places. What do these 4 places signify?
- Read 2Kings 6:8-17. What life challenges did Elisha have to overcome? How did he respond to overcome these? How is God present throughout the life story of Elisha?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
- Do you think discipleship is important? Why? What is your role in discipleship? Please share how you are being discipled or discipling others.
- What is your attitude when God tells you to obey Him? Share a recent struggle. Describe the struggle that happens in your heart.
- For you, is being in a community important? Why or why not?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
How can being in quarantine be an opportunity for you to grow in the Lord?
With what you have learned from Elisha’s example, how are you going to respond to it?
6. Engage God in prayer (20-30 mins)
- Pray for each other’s needs and concerns. (10-15 minutes)
- Pray for our country. (10-15 minutes)
- Health and protection for our government leaders
- Peace and order in recent bombings in Jolo
- People suffering from online fatigue and mental health issues during this pandemic season
