看見再看見 Seeing and Seeing Again

耶穌以相當奇特的方式治癒了一位來自伯賽大的瞎子。祂分兩個階段行了這個奇蹟。本週日,張國強牧師將揭示基督為何要分兩個階段行這奇蹟的屬靈意義。

Jesus healed a blind man from Bethsaida in two stages. This Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung explains the significance of Christ’s two-stage miracle and highlights what this reveals about God’s transformative work in our lives.

1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– Share something in your life that at first seemed confusing or blurry, but became clearer over time.

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. Why do you think Jesus chose to heal the blind man in two stages instead of instantly?
– When you were younger in your faith, what was one thing you misunderstood about Jesus that you now see more clearly? How does the blind man’s gradual healing reflect the disciples’ (and your) journey of understanding who Jesus is?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– In what areas of your spiritual life do you feel like your “vision” is still blurry? Where do you think this is rooted?
– Do you still rely on signs or methods instead of trusting in God’s presence and power? What encourages and hinders you from doing so?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– How can you practice keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus in your daily routine this week?
– How can you respond differently the next time God works in your life through an unexpected or “foolish” method?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Praise the Heavenly Father for opening your eyes to His grace and for patiently leading you from blurry to clear spiritual sight. Thank Him for His power that works beyond human methods, and rejoice that Jesus is the first and clearest vision given to you.
– Repent for the times you have relied on signs, outward appearances, or your own understanding instead of trusting in God’s presence and power. Ask forgiveness for the areas where your vision remains blurry because of pride, doubt, or distraction, and pray for the humility to keep your eyes fixed only on Jesus.
