Conquer Your Mountain
Everyone faces mountains in the form of financial problems, difficult or painful relationships, or overwhelming situations that seem impossible to solve. This week, Ptr. Michael Cariño reminds us that when we focus on God — the mountain-mover — instead of the mountain, our problems will seem small compared to God’s power, plan, and promise.

1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
- Choose 2 LG members to share a devotion they recently had.
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
- Read the passage. Describe the 5th vision of Zechariah. What do you understand about this vision?
- What have you learned about God through this passage?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
- Read v.6. What does this verse mean for you? What challenges does this verse raise for you?
- Read v.7. What is the ‘mighty mountain’ referred to in this verse? In your life right now, what “mighty mountain” are you facing that seems impossible for you to overcome (e.g. sin, situation, hurt, etc.)? In what way does this verse bring assurance to you?
- What are the things that you tend to seek as a source of your strength? Share an experience. What does this passage say about our own abilities vs God’s?
- What promise from God can you claim from this passage?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
- What practical ways can you do to depend on God more this coming week?
6. Engage God in prayer (20-30 mins)
- Pray for each other’s needs and concerns. (10-15 minutes)
- Pray for our country. (10-15 minutes)
- Possible stricter quarantine in the provinces as COVID-19 cases are increasing.
- Salvation of government officials and God’s protection upon them.
