- What point in this message was most impactful for you?
- Who are present in the courtroom? What is the accusation? Why is Joshua being accused? What is the verdict and sentence?
- What is the significance that Joshua is dressed in filthy clothes and his clothes are replaced?
- What have you learned about God through this passage?
3. Engage the heart
- We notice that Joshua was silent all throughout, why do you think he remained silent? Place yourself in the shoes of Joshua, what would be your response?
- What does this passage teach us about how God deals with our sins?
- What does it mean for you that God has cleansed you from sin through Jesus?
- When have you taken His grace for granted? Please share.
4. Engage the hands
- What would you commit to do in response to God’s grace and forgiveness?
- How would you plan to resist a particular sin in the coming weeks? Is there something you need to do or to avoid to keep you from committing sin?
- Spend an intimate moment with God to ask for His forgiveness and for His empowerment to help you resist the temptation to commit sin.

- Pray for your family’s needs and concerns.
- Pray for our country.
