There is no escape for the unrepentant when the Lord’s day comes. Let us recognize each new calamity and crisis – whether man-made or natural – as a reminder to repent and return to the Lord.

We know that the day of the Lord is fast approaching because we live in a wicked and corrupt world – a world as in the days of Noah. Let us heed the warning signs and repent.

In the Book of Joel, the prophet urged Israel to realize that the Lord is speaking to them through the calamitous events of their time. Let us heed the words of the prophet and learn how we should respond to the Lord during this pandemic.
