聖經中的復活觀 The Biblical View on Resurrection

聖經中的復活觀 The Biblical View on Resurrection

本週經文聚焦於撒都該人對耶穌復活教導的質疑。耶穌如何回應他們的挑戰?本週日,張國強牧師將分享見解:耶穌作為首位從死裡復活者,如何彰顯復活的真理與權柄。

How did Jesus respond when the Sadducees challenged His teachings on the Resurrection? This Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung shares insights on how Jesus embodied the truth and authority of the Resurrection by being the first to rise from the dead.

1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• Share who or what has most shaped your view of heaven or resurrection (Scripture, family beliefs, culture, movies, or personal experiences).

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. What were the major errors of the Sadducees in their understanding of resurrection?
• What does Jesus teach about how life and relationships will be different after the resurrection?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• In what ways do you sometimes approach Scripture to defend your opinions rather than to seek God’s truth (especially when they oppose your views)?
• Do you live with a fear of death, or with confidence in the resurrection? What does your daily life reveal about your answer?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What is one way you can grow in knowing the Scriptures more deeply—not just intellectually, but devotionally—this week?
• How can your hope in the resurrection shape yourchoices, priorities, and relationships, as well as how you respond to suffering, loss, or uncertainty right now?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise the Heavenly Father for He is the God of the living and not of the dead. Thank Him that His power is greater than death, greater than fear, and greater than anything that binds us in this life. Express your gratitude for Jesus, who is the resurrection and the life, and for the sure hope that those who belong to Him will rise to eternal life. Reflect on how, because He lives, we can face both life and death with confidence, peace, and joy that come only from Him.
• Repent for the times you have approached Scripture with pride, skepticism, or hidden agendas rather than with humility and trust. Ask for forgiveness for limiting God’s power by fitting Him into human logic and earthly assumptions. Repent for the moments you have lived in fear of death or uncertainty instead of resting in the hope of resurrection. Pray for the hunger, humility, and discipline to know the Scriptures deeply, to trust fully in the power of God, and to live each day shaped by the truth of eternal life in Christ.
