Michael Cariño, matututunan natin mula sa buhay ni Moses na mananaig tayo sa mga hamon ng buhay kung magtitiwala tayo na ang ating nakalipas, layunin, landasin ay nasa kamay ng Panginoon na nagmamahal sa atin.
When we fail to revere and fear the Lord as our one and only God and King, we are like a vine that used to bear abundant fruit but has now been reduced to thorns and thistles. Let Israel’s experience in this passage from Hosea be a warning to us.
Let us not make the mistake of taking the Lord’s love for granted, lest disasters befall us when our Lord’s judgment comes.
When the cares of this world press down on us, let us abide in God and be strengthened by Him. With God in us, we can endure all things and become the conduit for His self-giving, self-sacrificing love with our families.
