1. Start with a prayer

2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• What comes to mind when you think about the concept of victory? Share a time when you felt victorious over a difficult challenge.

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. What does Paul mean when he says that our perishable bodies cannot inherit God’s kingdom? How does the resurrection transform our bodies for this inheritance?
• Explain the connection between sin and death as well as sin and the law (v.56). Look for more passages in Scripture that elaborate on how they’re connected.

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• Do you feel confident and fully believe in the Truth of the resurrection? How do you handle instances of doubt?
• How motivated are you to give yourself fully to the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor is not in vain? What encourages and hinders you from fully committing to God’s work?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What steps can you take this week to stand firm in the Truth of the resurrection, especially in the face of challenges or teachings that might cause doubt or confusion?
• How can you intentionally give more of your time, energy, and resources to the Lord’s work? What specific action steps can you take today to serve others for God’s kingdom?

6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Praise the Lord for the incredible gift of the resurrection, which allows us to inherit His glorious kingdom. Thank Him for the victory over death that we have through Christ’s death and resurrection. Rejoice that through His power, we are transformed from perishable to imperishable, and that our labor in the Lord is not in vain but has eternal significance.
• Repent for the times you have lived as though the resurrection were not your hope, allowing fear, doubt, or worldly concerns to dominate your heart. Ask for forgiveness for not giving yourself fully to the Lord’s work, often being swayed by distractions or not standing firm in the truth of His resurrection. Pray for a renewed commitment to live with hope and steadfastness, fully devoted to His service.
