你當記得 Always Remember
2024 年即將結束,讓我們反思神在這一年裡的恩惠。本主日,張國強牧師鼓勵我們操練自己的心和思想,從神的角度看待情況,以感恩的心來回想過去這一年。
As 2024 draws to a close, let us reflect on what God has done for us throughout the year. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung encourages us to train our hearts and minds to view both good and bad situations from God’s perspective and to look back on the past year with gratitude.

Life Group Discussion Guide
1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
– Share a time you realized you took something for granted. What caused you to forget its value? What happened after your realization?
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
– Read the passage. Why is it essential to acknowledge that God’s grace comes from His sovereignty?
– What distinguishes special grace and common grace? Cite examples of how we all experience common grace.
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
– Do you find it easier to focus on the wrongs done to you than on the blessings you have received from God? Why or why not? What encourages and hinders you from doing so?
– Evaluate yourself: Have you been taking God’s grace and blessings for granted in any area of your life? Identify the root causes and roadblocks to living mindfully and gratefully.
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
– What specific steps can you take to cultivate a habit of remembering and giving thanks for God’s grace daily?
– How can you encourage others in your life to adopt a perspective of gratitude rather than complaining?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
– Praise the Lord for His abundant grace, both common and special, which sustains us daily and gives us eternal hope. Give thanks for His forgiveness of sins, healing of diseases, and redemption through Jesus Christ. Rejoice in the satisfaction and fullness we have in His presence, for His mercies are new every morning and His goodness endures forever.
– Repent for the times you have forgotten God’s grace, taking His forgiveness, healing, and blessings for granted. Ask for forgiveness for focusing more on complaints and hardships than on His providence and sovereignty. Pray for a heart of gratitude and humility that always remembers His unmerited favor and love.
