神的護理 (二) God’s Providence (2)
神的護理就是神用祂的聖潔、智慧、權能保護祂所造的萬物, 並且管理他們一切的動作。神的護理達到世界任何一個地方, 達到世界每一個人與每一件事, 所以在聖經裡沒有巧合的事, 沒有意外的事, 一些都是在神的掌管裡。神的護理對我們來說是意外, 但卻是神的預定。以斯帖記第五章與第六章, 這二章聖經記載四件事: 1.一個筵席 2.一個木架 3.一次失眠 4.一次誤解。這四件事都在神的護理裡, 使猶大人滅絕種危機有了新的轉機。

1. Start with a prayer
2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)
• Share an experience or an observation of what humility and pride look like.
3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)
• Read the passage. What happened to King Xerxes?
• What happened to Haman?
• What happened to Mordecai?
• Where do you see God’s providence in this passage?
4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)
• For you, what does God’s providence mean? How do you see this in your everyday life? Be specific.
• What does humility in your life look like? What does pride look like in your life?
5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)
• What Truth do you want to hold on to?
• What specific actions will you take to make this Truth alive in your daily life?
6. Engage with God in prayer (20-30 mins)
• Thank God for His presence and providence. Praise Him because these are not dependent on us but are His character and will.
• Repent of times when we let pride take over our hearts and we desire to harm others because of our selfishness.
• Pray for awareness and joy of God’s presence and His providence. Pray for humility and love for others and to trust God’s character and timing.
