事奉的選擇 – The Choice to Serve

約書亞要以色列人作一個選擇, 你們要委身事奉神呢或是事奉其他的神, 人生是在乎選擇 Life is all about choices; 我們今天成為了怎樣的人, 這與我們過去的選擇有關的, 我們現在的婚姻, 家庭, 事業與事奉都是過去選擇的結果; 約書亞在離世以前, 他要以色列人作一個慎重的選擇, 絕對不能隨便, V14-27告訴我們在選擇前要有三方面的考慮: 1.基於過去經歷的考慮 2.基於上帝聖潔的考慮 3.基於全人委身的考慮。

Life is all about the choices we make; do we choose to serve the Lord or are we serving other “gods”? Listen to Rev. Jeremiah Cheung this week as he exhorts us to be mindful of who we choose to serve in light of God’s promises and holiness.

• Pray for continued trust in the Lord our God who is able and sovereign especially in times when difficulties cloud our mind and heart. Pray for continued hope in the Lord who has plans for our ultimate good and eternal assurance.

Ang Diyos lamang ang karapatdapat sa ating paglilingkod. Itong linggo, ipinapaalala ni Ptr. Joseph Ouano na sinasalamin ng ating pamumuhay kung sino ang napili nating paglingkuran. Ang Diyos nga ba ang pinagsisilbihan natin o mga diyos-diyosan lamang?

Only God is worthy of our service. This week, Ptr. Joseph Ouano reminds us that our lifestyles reflect who we have chosen to serve. Are you serving our Lord and God or have you chosen to worship worldly idols?

• Basahin ang talata. Ano ang kahalagahan ng pagsasalaysay ng kasaysayan ng Israel?
• Anong desisyon ang kailangang gawin ng mga Israelita? Bakit mahalaga ang desisyon na ito?

• Anong mga desisyon ang kinakaharap mo ngayon? Paano dapat nakakaapekto ang iyong pagkakakilala, karanasan, at relasyon kay Hesus sa iyong desisyon?
• Maglaan ng ilang minuto para alalahanin ang presensya ng Diyos sa iyong buhay. Sa anong paraan mo nais tumugon sa Diyos?

6. Maglaan ng oras para sa pagdadasal (20-30 mins)
• Magpasalamat sa Diyos sa Kanyang presensya sa ating buhay – hindi Niya tayo iniiwan o pinapabayaan; sa Kanyang patnubay; sa Kanyang pakikipaglaban sa mga hamon ng ating buhay; sa pagiging mapagkakatiwalaan at sa pagtupad sa Kanyang mga pangako.
• Ipagdasal ang patuloy na pagtitiwala sa ating Panginoong Diyos na may kakayahan at may kapangyarihan lalo na sa mga panahon na nababalot ng kahinaan ang ating isip at puso. Manalangin para sa patuloy na pag-asa sa Panginoon na may mga plano para sa ating kabutihan at katiyakan.

福與禍的選擇 The Choice between Blessing and Curse

約書亞將福與禍放在以色列領袖的面前, 他們要作一個選擇, 他們要蒙福呢或是要蒙災難呢? 這是他們要作出的選擇。約書亞記 23章裡耶和華你們的神出現 13次, 約書亞一次又一次提醒以色列人, 耶和華是你們的神, 祂愛你們, 但真正的愛是有管教的, 所以祂會賜福也會降禍, 但原因都是因為愛。主耶穌是我們的主, 我們的神, 我們也要作出選擇, 你要主賜福給你, 或是降災難給你, 這是你可以作出的選擇。

Joshua repeatedly reminded the Israelites that Jehovah is God and that God’s love leads to both blessings and discipline. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung reminds us to choose wisely by obeying the Lord, for our choices will spell the difference between blessings and disasters.

Keeping the Blessing

Ang Tanging Landas

Sa buhay, mayroong dalawang landas na ating pagpipilian: ang buhay na hiwalay sa Diyos o ang buhay na kasama ang Diyos. Itong linggo, hinihikayat tayo ni Ptr. Renz Raquion na tahakin ang landas na kasama at kapiling ang Diyos.

Before us are two paths: living apart from God or living a life with Him. This week, Ptr. Renz Raquion urges us to make the better choice—a life with God.

証壇事件 – 內戰的危機 Altar Incident – Crisis of Civil War

當一個國家面對敵人攻擊時, 百姓都會同心協力的面對敵人, 但當一個國家內部分裂的時候, 這是國家最危險的時候; 教會也是如此, 當教會面對外面壓力時, 教會會更同心合意的禱告, 教會會越來越堅強, 但當教會內部出現問題時, 常常是教會分裂的時候; 撒旦很利害, 迦南地33個王都不能打敗以色列人, 撒旦就換一個方法, 既然外面的勢力不能打敗以色列人, 就用內部分裂來毀滅以色列人。約書亞記 22章証壇事件就是以色列人內戰的危機, 但感謝神危機最後成為了轉機, 以色列人同心事奉神, 讓我們一同來學習化解危機的原則。

Nothing damages the church more than infighting. A common outside enemy brings us together, but when we become divided, we are vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung teaches us the principles for resolving internal crises so we can serve the Lord together as one.

Tunay Na Tapat Sa Diyos

Mananatili ba tayong tapat sa Diyos kahit na walang nakakakita sa atin? Sinasalamin ba ng ating pagkilos at paguugali ang buhay ng isang tapat na mananampalataya? Itong linggo, ipinapaalala ni Ptr. Allan Rillera na upang maituring na tapat at kalugud-lugod sa mata ng Diyos, kailangan natin mamuhay nang may integridad kahit na walang nakatingin sa atin.

Are we faithful to God even when no one is around to see us? Do we live like faithful believers? This week Ptr. Allan Rillera admonishes us to live with integrity and stay true to God even when others are not watching so we can be found faithful and pleasing in His sight.

專心跟隨主 Follow the Lord Wholeheartedly

勒迦是一個有夢想有目標的人, 他40歲的時就夢想要得到神應許的迦南地, 45年後(85歲)他的夢想成真了; 我們有夢嗎? 神賜給我們一座那麼美好的門徒訓練中心, 我們要為神作更大的事, 我們要有夢, 教會要有夢, 不要隨便放棄這個夢想, 讓我們為主成為一間門徒訓練的教會。

Caleb was 40 years old when he dreamed of conquering Canaan— a vision that was fulfilled when he was 85 years old. This anniversary Sunday, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung reminds us that we must likewise hold on to our vision and goal of becoming a disciple-making church for Christ.
