2. Engage one another (15-30 mins)

• Choose 2 LG members to share a devotion they recently had.
• Share 2-3 things that you consider as a blessing from God.

3. Engage the mind (15-20 mins)

• Read the passage.
• What difficult circumstance was Abraham facing? What things did he have to give up? How did Abraham overcome a difficult situation in his life?
• What have you learned about God from Abraham’s life?
• What kind of relationship does Abraham have with God?

4. Engage the heart (15-20 mins)

• How much does God love you? How has Abraham’s obedience brought blessing to people including us?
• How is your relationship with God?
• Is there a command you have been putting on hold to obey? What hinders you to obey?

5. Engage the hands (15-20 mins)

• Are you facing a difficult situation now? Learning from Abraham, how can you overcome it? How can our group help you overcome it?
• How can you obey God and trust Him now?

6. Engage God in prayer (20-30 mins)

• Pray for each other’s needs and concerns. (10-15 minutes)
• Pray for our country. (10-15 minutes)
  • Conflicts within the families to be handled and resolved with grace and forgiving hearts.
  • Protection of employers and employees going to work.
  • Safety of the frontliners and their families.

Si Abraham ay kilala natin ngayon bilang ama ng maraming bansa at ng mga mananampalataya. Ang kanyang buhay ay testimonya ng katapatan ng Panginoon kung susundin natin ang Kanyang mga nais sa kabila ng mga hamon at pagsubok. Sa mensaheng ito, hinihikayat tayo ni Ptr. Allan Rillera na pagtibayin ang ating pananampalataya at pagsunod sa Diyos dahil Siya ay tunay na mabuti at mapagkakatiwalaan.

Abraham is known as the Father of Faith and of the Nations. His life is a testimony of God’s faithfulness if we continue to seek and obey His will even as we face challenges and trials. In this message, Ptr. Allan Rillera urges us to strengthen our faith and obedience to the Lord because He is good and trustworthy.

1. Magdasal bilang panimula.

2. Engage with one another (15-30 mins)

• Pumili ng 2 miyembro upang magbahagi ng kanilang natutunan mula sa kanilang personal devotion.

• Kamusta ang relasyon mo sa Panginoon?
• Mayroon bang utos ang Diyos na pinagpapaliban mong sundin? Ano ang humahadlang sa iyo na sundin ito?

• May kinakaharap ka bang mahirap o mabigat na sitwasyon ngayon? Mula sa natutunan mo mula sa buhay ni Abraham, paano mo ito malalampasan?
• Sa paanong paraan mo susundin ang Diyos at paano ka magtitiwala sa Kanya?

6. Maglaan ng oras para sa pagdadasal (20-30 mins)

• Manalangin para sa mga pangangailangan at alalahanin ng bawat isa. (10-15 minutes)
• Manalangin para sa ating bansa. (10-15 minutes)
  • Na ang mga hindi pagkakasundo sa pamilya ay maiayos nang may pagkakaunawaan at pagpapatawad sa puso.
  • Proteksyon ng mga employer at empleyado na pumapasok sa trabaho.
  • Kaligtasan ng mga frontliners at ng kanilang mga pamilya.
